My Published Books
E-books & Tree books for your reading enjoyment
For Family Members only!
SHORT CIRCUITS & BRAIN FARTS is a memoir containing bits and pieces of my writing activities over the years: slapstick, one-liners, and art work. I leave this to my family and friends to remind them how totally goofy I am.
This book was written between the writing and publishing of my novels. It served as a great writer's block breaker. I hope you have as much fun reading Short Circuit as I had writing it.
Cheers!

👀 BRAND NEW RELEASE! 👀
A tender but fierce love story about a young Afro-Asian paramedic coming to terms
with his identity and a feisty Caucasian girl fed up with her strict American
upbringing. Paul Angers (Kimchi) and a young woman with a rickshaw meet at a
zoo and end up in each other’s arms.
It's
Kansas City, Missouri,
1977, and Paul Angers has flashbacks of his Korean mother and sister as their
small group of refugees traveled through the mountains to find safety in
war-torn Korea.
This mixed-race young man's whole life changed after his adoption by an
American couple.
Kimchi
will entertain you with his knowledge of martial arts and fire rescues, and
will soothe the racist beast that may lurk unbidden inside of you. A gritty
story of compassion and memories of his Korean mother, Cam—who abandoned him at an orphanage when he was four
years old.
This
courageous young man deals with a racist fire chief, and the girl he wants
rejects him repeatedly. He expects the racism—he's dealt with it all his
life—but he does not expect to fall in love. Available as e-book and print at Amazon.com.

FOOTPRINTS
IN TIME
A
Walk in Sacajawea’s Moccasins
On the Lewis & Clark Trail
This book is dedicated to the brave men and women
who faced the unknown to forge trails across this wide and wild continent.
When America
was young, many pioneers left their footprints in the sands of time as they
explored the land from east to west. In 1805, a young native woman joined the
Lewis and Clark expedition, and with a papoose on her back, helped explore America’s
northwest.
This book is for readers ages 8-12 years who want to learn more about Sacajawea, her papoose Pomp, and the explorers Lewis and Clark.

Face the Winter Naked is Historical Fiction set in the Great Depression of 1932, in my birth state, Missouri. You will definitely enjoy this novel, which some have compared favorably to The Grapes of Wrath, by John Steinbeck. I am so honored!
The Ghost of Calico Acres is what I call a modern Gothic-Romance-Suspense-Mystery, and it's up to you to figure out who or what is haunting Calico Acres. I had such fun writing this one!
Down the Memory Hole is for middle-grades through senior citizens. All ages love it. I once worked as a caregiver for an elderly Alzheimer's patient, so I am quite familiar with that condition. This story is a laugh-out-loud story as seen through the eyes and heart of a 12-year-old boy who dearly loves his grandfather but wishes they weren't roommates.
As you see, I love writing about the Arctic and have a 3-book series: The Haunted Igloo, Book 1, Spirit Lights, Book 2, and Drum Dance, Book 3. Not only are these books sequels, but each stands alone and the characters age. (Books 1 & 2 are for middle-grade readers, but Drum Dance is young adult through adult. It is not for young kids, but still carries my Arctic theme. And there's a surprise in it for those who read Spirit Lights!)
My books are available from Amazon.com
. They are available in both e-books and print, which are nice for gift-giving. I would appreciate your checking them out, and, if you enjoyed reading them, please tell your friends, and also leave a brief review on the books' content pages.
I thank you . . . and my characters love you!
